ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! I use Google all the time for my research for papers and I thought it worked pretty well. But I never knew about the way to specify the search. That would help a great deal. I will have to pass this info on to my younger brother who is just starting university, because unfortunately I don't have any research left to do for school. However, being a student of science, I plan to get some sort of job that will most likely require me to do research at some point or another. Not to mention, this will assist me in finding things just for my own interest.
ReplyDeleteWow, I found this very informative. I will definitely try to incorporate more of these 'tricks' to effectively search Google. It is a lifetime skill that I will master by the end of our semester! This will really make searches much more specific and give me the answers I am looking for.

ReplyDeleteThanks for tips to have a successful Google search.
This is incredibly useful information. I can't believe I didn't know half of this stuff! Performing searches on Google is going to be faster than ever; although it might take me a few times to get the "code" right. The other little tricks like definitions and unit conversions will be so handy. As well, I was apart of the 90% that was unaware of the 'Command' function...now I am apart of the 10%.
